Year 2 - Paramedic Visit

The Year 2s have been busy investigating their Big Question, ‘How do people and places in our community help us grow, and how can we contribute to our community too?’

To continue furthering their knowledge and understanding of the topic, we had Lexie visit us from Ambulance Victoria. 

Lexie has been a paramedic for 6 years and was able to answer our many questions about what it’s like to be a paramedic. She even brought along an ambulance for the students to walk through to see all the special equipment she needs to fulfill her duties.

Our Year 2 students now not only have a greater understanding of another amazing helper in our community, but we learnt the number to dial when we have an emergency - 000.
