Grade 4

English

Over the past two weeks, the Grade 4 students have continued to enjoy reading Walter by Emily Rodda. They have been captivated by Rodda’s descriptive writing and her in-depth character development. Alongside their reading, students have been planning and writing their own narrative texts, as well as strengthening their sentence-level writing skills by adding detail and rich vocabulary.

Mathematics

In Mathematics, students have been developing their understanding of probability by conducting a range of chance experiments. They have been learning to identify independent and dependent events and to compare and interpret the results of their experiments.
