Year 5 News

Dear Families,
As we near the end of term three, we are very proud of the achievements of the students this term.
We would sincerely like to thank all the families for being so engaged and celebrating your child's learning by attending students led conferences and being in awe of your child's commitment to excelling in their learning. It is always a pleasure to hear them share how much knowledge they have acquired over the term.
The Grade 5’s are wrapping up their poetry collections with publishing taking place in week 9, creating maps and adding grid references and coordinates on their maps of choice, completing the sustainability unit in investigations, retelling stories using key word signs in Auslan of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and identifying intense emotions to finish up their Wellbeing unit of work.
Well done to those students who have represented Riverwalk Primary School at sporting events and on excursions and for supporting R U Ok Day this term.
Have a safe and relaxing school holidays and we shall look forward to a lengthy 11 week term 4.
