School Production 2025: Charlie and The Chocolate Factory
From Thursday August 7th to Saturday August 9th, nearly 100 students from the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory cast, crew and band performed in four amazing shows to over 1,000 audience members. It was a hugely successful season and we are beyond proud of every student who brought incredible heart, talent and dedication to the stage. Together, they brought our vision to life in the most magical way.
This was truly a special group who supported one another every step of the way, making this production a memorable experience that will always hold a special place in our hearts. A special shout-out goes to our amazing Year 12 students. This was their final school production and what an incredible way to finish!
We would also like to sincerely thank everyone, families, teachers and the wider school community, for their support and contribution in making this show such a huge success.

Musical Futures
As part of the Musical Futures program, our middle school students participated in music production workshops as part of the Victorian Challenge and Enrichment Series. This program provides extension activities across for high-ability students.
Students recorded sounds from their surroundings and use these to make music through contemporary production processes and production tools used widely in the music and creative industries such as film, TV, gaming, podcasting and the creation of content for social media.
We had a fun day creating and making music, using professional recording and editing equipment.
Thank you to our students who engaged and made the most of this rewarding experience.

Transit Dance Workshop and Annie the Musical
On Wednesday, September 10th, our senior dance students went on an exciting excursion. We first participated in a workshop at Transit Dance in Brunswick. The workshop was led by Priscilla Cosentino, one of the Deputy Heads of Dance, who guided us through a challenging jazz routine that they really enjoyed learning. We also got a great insight into the tertiary courses available at Transit Dance and had the chance to explore some of their impressive facilities. After the workshop, students headed to The Princess Theatre to watch Annie the Musical. The whole day was truly inspiring and opened our eyes to the many possibilities within dance and the performing arts.

Victorian State Schools Spectacular
On Saturday September 13th, 16 students from Years 8 to 12 had an amazing time performing as part of the Mass Dance at the Victorian State Schools Spectacular at John Cain Arena. This year’s show ‘On Air’ included song, dance, and circus acts, all brought to life with spectacular lighting, vibrant costumes and the accompaniment of a 75-piece orchestra. It was a fantastic experience for our students to share the stage with other primary and secondary students from all over Victoria. We were particularly inspired by the Principal Dancers and Vocalists. A special broadcast with behind-the-scenes highlights will air on Friday, December 19th at 7pm on Channel 7 in Victoria.
