Memorial Service
A Memorial Service for the late Br Peter Clinch will be held in the Chapel of St Virgil at Guilford Young College, Barrack St on Monday 26 February commencing at 5.30pm. Those attending are asked to enter the chapel via the side door nearest to the Barrack St entrance to the property.
Annual General Meeting
The 2024 Old Virgilians Annual General Meeting will be held at the on Monday 25 March at the St Virgil’s Junior Campus starting at 7.00pm. Hopefully we can get a good attendance. Nominations for the new committee can be gained from the secretary per grainbow@stvirgils.tas.edu.au or by calling on 0467 514 667
Please consider ‘putting your hand up’. Nominations close on Friday 15 March.
The current committee are seeking an amendment to the Associations Constitution to enable under certain circumstances payment of scholarship and donated funds held by the Association to be made for the benefit of current and future Old Virgilians’, rather than just the interest on those funds. Full details will be provided as part of the notice of meeting.
The AGM will be a further opportunity for members and the Committee to consult on the role of the OVA in the College Community.
Annual Dinner
The 2024 Old Virgilians' Association Annual Dinner, originally planned for March 2024, has been postponed. A new date will be communicated in later editions of OVAtions.
OVA Golf Day will be held on Friday 8 November. Entry details will be provided in upcoming editions of the OVA newsletter.

Year 12 Graduation Mass
Wednesday 23 October – St Mary’s Cathedral / Junior Campus
Consideration is being given to OVA luncheons for 2024 – where / when / if . No decisions have been made at this stage. Suggestions welcome.
It is the intention of the OVA Committee to have another 2024 Melbourne reunion given the success of this event in 2023. It is anticipated it will most likely take place at the same venue at around the same time of the year. Further details to be provided.
