Product Design and Technology

2024 has welcomed our new Year 7 students to Scoresby Secondary College and they were eager to explore the technology areas and particularly the Product Design areas. 

VCE students are facing a challenging year ahead but are keen and enthusiastic knowing the opportunities VCE Product Design offers towards their career pathway. 

We look forward to offering each student the best opportunity to realise their full potential.

Drama 

This term unfortunately only the Year 8 students get to experience the joys and wonders that theatre can provide.  The group is exploring all elements s that constitute a theatre performance outside of the director and actors. This includes  make-up, set and costume design and more.

The students are completing workshops where they get to experience what it’s like to be a costume designer or sound engineer and explore the world of theatre from a very different perspective. 

Our focus has been 'Into the Woods', a very famous play that merges the stories of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk and Rapunzel into one story that follows a young baker and his wife attempting to break a curse put on them by the witch. 

The students are exploring the different of elements that a world like this might include and learning along the way.
