Finance Matters

Hi everyone!

Our JSA Finance Timeline (as below) is importnat to take note of, as you plan either your excursions/incursions or purchases throughout the year.

Attention: Teachers

Term 4 Excursions/Incursions

As you can see in the timeline above, all Term 4 excursion/incursion applications are due to your SSL by the end of Week 6. That's 2 weeks away!

Purchase Orders

Dont forget! The closing date for all purchase orders is Friday, 6th September.

Attention: Budget Coordinators

Annual Resource Auditing and Final Purchases

We ask, as a measure of good practice, that you please audit the resources you/your Curriculum Team have allocated to your budget/s. 

If you identify that you are in need of any 'specific' items to support learning for the remainder of year, please plan these purchases.

PLEASE NOTE: Final purchases are not made to merely spend the remaining funds or to stockpile but primarily to aid our student's learning there and then.

2024 Budget Evaluations and 2025 Proposals

As with last year, we will continue to 1 MS Word document for each budget area allocated to you. I have attached both the template and worked sample for you to refer to.

Whilst I expect this process to be quite straight forward for many of you, there are some small changes, Shirley and I would like to request that you attend a short briefing in the CLH this Friday, 9th August at 3:15pm for no longer than 15 minutes.

We will be able to explain the process in person and respond to any queries you may have.

If you cannot attend on Friday, Shirley and I would like you to please meet with either of us in person to ensure that this important task is understood and completed on time.
