Principal's Welcome 

 Dear Parents, 

Welcome to this special Parent Opinion Survey edition of our newsletter. The Parent Opinion Survey allows schools to actively engage with families, and provides an important indicator of how well our school is meeting the needs of students. The survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, and student engagement.

To assist with your knowledge of these areas, throughout last term we included an additional page to each newsletter with information about each.  We have collated those pages into this newsletter to provide you the information required to make an informed decision. 

We have also included a raffle as an incentive for families to complete the survey.  Once completed, please take a screenshot of your final page and email that to the school on mackellar.ps@education.vic.gov.au for your child to go into the running for one of two ZERO-X OSPREY drones. The raffle will be drawn at assembly once the survey window has closed. Details on how to complete the survey can be found on the final page of this newsletter.
