Lower Secondary (Years 7-8)

Lower Secondary students have settled back in nicely after a two-week holiday. The term began with NAIDOC Week, which was filled with fun and engaging activities. They engaged in an incursion, participating in various activities and discussions about Indigenous culture and history. Additionally, the students embarked on an excursion to ACMI, immersing themselves in an exhibition.

Upper Secondary (Years 9-10)

This week, the 9/10’s launched the trial run of our café, and it was a success. We look forward to starting service for week 3. Students made loaded potatoes, and the feedback was excellent! Staff loved the delicious food and wonderful service. Congratulations Team, Great work!

The 9/10’s also went out on their first excursions this week. They went to the Aquarium, Queen Vic market, and the Shrine of Remembrance. The students had an excellent time and are ready to go out again next week!

Senior Secondary (VPC/ASDAN)

What a great start to Term 3!

Students from both classes have returned full of enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Last week 10/12 A celebrated NAIDOC week and produced some lovely artwork that now adorns the classroom walls. They had great fun in performing arts too, exploring and playing a range of different indigenous musical instruments.

10/12 B have been busy working on a new ASDAN module (horticulture) and they have started to visit different service providers. This week the class along with Azmi and I (Simon) had a great day at Inclusion Melbourne where the students were given a tour, morning tea, games, a sample of the different programs and a gift to take home.
