Emergency Food Program

Malvern Emergency Food Program 2024

The MEFP runs a very important service for residents of Stonnington, and it is run by volunteers.

They provide food parcels for those in need in Stonnington.

The food parcels contain a balanced diet for 2 to 3 days of non-perishable food. Families can request extra parcels as required. No questions asked.

St Joseph’s has supported the MEFP for many years, and we are looking to our families to help us again this year.

Over the next few weeks we ask that as you do your grocery shop, you add one or two items to your trolley if you are able to do so.

Please send the donations to your child's classroom.

We will have a competition between the classes to create the longest line of donations on the final day of giving.

These are the items that the MEFP is requesting:

FISH Canned tuna, salmon (90g to 200g)

CEREAL Small packets eg Weet-Bix 200-400 g

MILK Long Life milk. 1 Litre
