New Degrees on offer in 2026

  • Bachelor of Business 

Commencing in Semester 1 2026, ACU’s innovative 3-year Bachelor of Business program will be open.  It has been developed in collaboration with industry leaders and designed with the future in mind.  This degree offers unparalleled flexibility, allowing students to customise their studies to align with their career aspirations in a rapidly evolving world.

 

The program includes a variety of community and industry placements and the option of future-ready majors and minors that align with evolving market demands, making it more modern, practical and industry-focused.The majors on offer will include – Accounting, Data analytics, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Management, Business Administration (new), and Finance (new).Students will also have access to a number of minors including – Accounting, Communications (new), Economics (new), Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Artificial intelligence (new), Cybersecurity (new), Healthcare Management (new), Information Systems (new), and Sustainability for Business (new).

 

  • Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability

Also commencing in 2026, the Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability 

this course will focus on tackling the great sustainability challenges of the 21st century and make a positive impact on the world and in our communities. 

Students will learn how to balance the human and ecological needs of our planet by exploring diverse perspectives on society and the environment from across the humanities (including the geographical and environmental sciences), business, law and philosophy.  A number of double degrees will be on offer with this course.

Students who possess a strong commitment to social and environmental justice, equity and human dignity, will find this unique multidisciplinary degree will help them to turn their aspirations into action.  

  • Bachelor of Psychological Science/Master of Teaching (Primary)

Commencing in Semester 1 2026, the Bachelor of Psychological Science/Master of Teaching (Primary) will offer students the unique opportunity to gain a deep foundation in psychology to support a career in teaching. The Bachelor of Psychological Science offers a sequence in Psychology for students to develop a scientific understanding of human behaviour and psychological principles, exploring how the mind works and why people behave the way they do.  Students will graduate from the degree having completed a sequence in Psychology accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) as a Level 1 Program. The Master of Teaching (Primary) component of this vertical degree is comprised of a graduate entry, pre-service teacher education course for those who want to qualify as a primary school teacher.  Students will graduate with specialist knowledge and understanding of not only literacy and numeracy but of all learning areas within the primary school curriculum.  This course will enable students to engage with the breadth of curriculum and pedagogical knowledge required by a primary classroom teacher.
