Weekend Activities

Last weekend, students enjoyed a trip to the Margaret River Chocolate Factory and made the most of the magnificent weather.

Later that day, several students participated in the local football competition, representing the Harvey Bulls. Their team secured a win, which now sees them progress further into the finals.

Sunday was a lazy day here onsite with students enjoying some down time.

Weekly Sports

On Monday, the grand finals of the local netball competition were held, with several of our students taking part. Some experienced the thrill of ultimate success, while others fell just short, but all enjoyed the camaraderie of being part of a team, working together and celebrating the season.

Meanwhile, Mr Jones’ pool competition has slowed down a little, with many games postponed due to illness. Once everyone is back on deck, the competition will continue, and we look forward to seeing the matches played out.

Illnesses

Once again, this week has been one of many students away with illness and flu-like symptoms, it is just a timely reminder that students need to take extra care with sneezing and coughing by ensuring they are not sharing their germs with us and washing their hands correctly and often.

Nearing the End of the Year

The term is drawing to a close, and our Year 12 students are encouraged to stay focused on getting everything in order. We remind them to take the time to speak with the relevant staff to ensure the best possible outcomes in their final weeks at the College.

It’s also a good opportunity over the next few weekends for our Year 12s to begin taking home some of the belongings they’ve accumulated in their rooms. It’s always surprising just how much “stuff” needs to be packed up and taken home on the last day of term!
