Farm West Discovery

On Wednesday, eight students attended the Farm West Discovery event at the Mantra Bunbury Lighthouse. They explored a wide range of beef and dairy exhibits, listened to presentations from international guest speakers, and connected with local industry representatives. It was a valuable opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge and gain insights into the agricultural sector.

Mandarin Picking

This week, students rolled up their sleeves and gained hands-on experience picking, grading, washing, waxing and packing the Mystique Mandarins, ready for the market next week. 

Pigs

Last Sunday, we were excited to welcome 11 new piglets to the College farm! The sow was artificially inseminated and is being cared for in a farrowing crate to help protect the piglets. The piglets have already received their iron injections, had their tails and teeth clipped, and are kept warm and cosy under a heat lamp.
