 ASSESSMENTS

The teachers are currently preparing for our Semester 2 reports and are undertaking a range of assessments with the students. These include a mix of standardised assessments, whole school and year level assessments, and classroom observations.

Semester Two reports will be available for parents to access on Friday 15th December.   

Areas that will be reported on in Semester 2, 2023 are:

• English - Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening

• Maths - Number and Algebra, Measurement and Geometry, Statistics and Probability
• Digital Technologies
• Specialist areas - Performing Arts, Visual Art, Physical Education, LOTE- Mandarin or French, Library, STEM 
• Inquiry areas (Year 3-6) – Civics and Citizenship, Design and Technologies ( Year 3- 4) Economics and Business ( Year 5-6) 
• Capabilities - Personal and Social, Intercultural, Critical and Creative Thinking, Ethical  (Prep students are only reported on Personal and Social capability) 

NUDE FOOD

Our Nude Food numbers have dropped off a little over the last month. Parents can I ask for your support with this as is it a big part of our commitment to sustainability. It also has a huge impact on the amount of rubbish in the yard.

ICAS 

ICAS certificates have arrived – these will be handed out to students in the coming weeks. 

Australian Maths Competition (AMC)

AMC certificates have also arrived – these will be handed out to students in the coming weeks.
