Halloween Music Trivia Night

On the night of Halloween (31st October) the 9Life Community Arts class hosted a night to remember!! The event was held to raise funds to purchase equipment for the College's new Performing Arts Centre.

On the night, our live band will perform

and will play mysterious "riffs," with the audience challenged to decipher the Halloween movie or artist/song associated with each one. In addition to this musical adventure, we had traditional trivia questions, games, and other captivating performances that will keep you engaged throughout the night. This event was open to adults and students alike and was such an enjoyable night! It was also great success for the community and bale to raise some needed funds!

A huge thank you must go to the event organiser, Danielle Growse and of course, her Year 9 Community Arts class for putting the whole event together. Thank you!!

"I can't believe we managed to raise so much money"

'I really enjoyed helping out with the bake sale and the trivia night. It was a very enjoyable experience and I loved helping out! 100% would do again.'

“Everyone did so well with the setup of the Halloween trivia night. We put a lot of effort in and it really paid off.”

The Halloween Trivia Night ended up being really fun to watch and engage in. As students we got to engage with the outer school community in an event that was both holiday themed, and fun for both parties involved. With both questions that were morbid but funny, and the amazing staff band it was definitely an experience I'm grateful for being included in- and got to organise alongside other students and the amazing Miss Growse!

I think we all had so many ideas and we were all able to execute them really well. We were able to incorporate everyone's ideas to create something that everyone would enjoy and like to be apart of.It was also so incredible to raise as much money as we did, and everyone should be proud of that.

The planning was so fun, We all had a say in what we should do for Halloween. We also raised so much.

It was a huge success and I had a lot of fun organising it and dressing up for the day to promote the music trivia night. One of my favourite things to do in all of my classes all year.

We had so much participation from the families that came, the band played incredibly, and it was just so much fun overall. Would highly encourage people to go to it the next one that is available!

I think that Halloween night went very well, the audience was fun and engaging and the staff band were great
