Science News

The Science department has been busy with classifying animals, the rock cycle and growing plants in term 4.

The year 7s have been busy exploring how different animals adapt to their environment in their unit of classification. The year 8s have been using sugar to mimic the rock cycle for the unit of geology.

The year 9s have been growing plants through mazes that they created themselves with mixed results. Some plant made it through the mazes, others did not.

The year 10 science investigations are busy finishing off the exploration of the creek and studying for upcoming exams.

The year 11 physics class has finished up with students creating their own investigations into the areas of energy and motion which created a range of experiments for Mr D’Silva to source the equipment required.

We wish all students good luck on their upcoming exams and look forward to meeting our new VCE classes at step up.
