Grade 3 & 4

Students in Grade 3/4 have been completing a Narrative Writing unit of work. They have been working hard to write a narrative story on the topicAbandoned or Halloween. Students were asked to plan a narrative writing piece using a narrative writing template. Include the setting, characters, mood, problem, events and solution. Students were asked to describe the sights, sounds, and emotions evoked by their setting to immerse their readers in the story. It’s important for readers to be able to create an image in their head. Here are a couple of stories from our writing unit. 

Picasso Cow Update

Congratulations to the Grade 5/6 students for their wonderful partipation in the Picasso Cows Program in Term 3. We were extremely excited to hear that our cow has been chosen to represent the program at the upcoming annual Dairy Australia conference. Wow! What an achievement. We are crossing our fingers that we will be one of the schools that will be sharing in over $6000 worth of prizes. Wish us luck!!
