Marcus Boom - HAPE & Year 8 and 9 Performance Teacher

What is your role in the College? My role at the College is Secondary teacher HAPE and year 8 and 9 performance elective teacher which covers drama and dance.

What is your favourite colour? My favourite colour is green, growing up and going to school both primary and secondary my house colour was green.

What is your favourite number and why? The number 4 is my lucky number although hasn’t proved to be all that lucky.

What is your favourite book and why? My favourite book is The Great Gatsby, I read this book whilst undertaking the LANTITE Test for initial teachers and watched the movie also.

What is your favourite food? I have 2 favourites - Gnocchi carbonara or combination noddle, also happy to eat pizza.

What do you like most about teaching and learning? Every day is a different day and each day you learn something different. I’m lucky that I teach PE and drama and there is lots of fun to be had!

What is your role in the College? My role at the College is a Generalist Year 5 Primary School Teacher.

What is your favourite colour? My favourite colour is dark blue.

What is your favourite number and why? My favourite number is 11 because of Mohamed Salah.

What is your favourite book and why? My favourite book is Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone because it captures the magic of imagination.

What is your favourite food? My favourite food is burgers.

What do you like most about teaching and learning? What I like most about teaching and learning is seeing students' eyes spark with enthusiasm when they are engaged and excited.
