Meet the Team!

 

Emma Reynolds

Emma is a qualified Social Worker, working at Truganina College for 1.5 years, and working in the school environment for almost 3 years now. Emma is currently working in the Foundation to Year 3 Wellbeing space, providing individual and group intervention and support. Working closely with teachers, Emma strives to build positive connections for students in their classroom and fellow classmates.

 

In the F to 3 space, Emma works with students to build emotional regulation skills, assist students to build and maintain healthy friendships, strengthen resilience and create individualised coping strategies, all aiming to ensure students are ready to learn. She is passionate about creating positive relationships with students and their families to ensure they can communicate with the Wellbeing Team in a positive and safe way. Emma looks forward to continuing to support students in the wellbeing space at Truganina College.

 

David Baskaran

David has worked at Truganina for just over one year, and is located in the Wellbeing Hub. He has a background of education in social work, with more than ten years of experience as a counsellor in an adult mental health setting.

 

David enjoys learning from the young brains and considers dealing with children to be intriguing. He likes working in groups and planning educational programs that allow kids to learn from a variety of engaging sources.
