Dear Parents

Our Year 6 Mini Fete was held last week and it was an incredible event. It was well organised and planned and our Year 6 children did an outstanding job. It had a relaxed and happy feel and the children had a wonderful time. Thankyou, Year 6 for the work you did preparing the Year 6 mini fete. Thankyou to the Stage 3 staff for the support they offered the children which ensured a hugely successful day. The Year 6 Mini Fete raised $2379. The Year 6 children will now decide on a gift to donate to the school.

On Tuesday we heard our 2025 School Captain and Vice Captain nominees deliver their speeches to the school. Wow! Every children was amazing. I can't begin to tell you how proud we are of the children. Well done everyone.

On Tuesday afternoon, we held our 2025 House Captain and Vice Captain elections. Congratulations to the many children who stood for the leadership positions. You all did a wonderful job speaking in front of your house and being passionate in supporting children to participate in sport. Super work, everyone.

Our 2025 Leadership Team will be announced on Wednesday 11th December at our Presentation Day Ceremony to be held in the Bathurst High Campus Gymnasium.

The School Colour Run will be held this Friday, 22nd November for the children at Bathurst Public School. Children in K-6 will participate in this event if their parent/s haven't contacted the school to withdraw them. Children are asked to wear an old white shirt and their navy blue shorts to school on Friday. Children will also require their school hat as it is hot on the oval. Children are raising funds that will be used to assist the children going to School Spectacular and purchasing resources for the school for all children to utilise. Parents and friends are welcome to come and watch from the Netball court area. It's going to be lots of fun!

We wish our children attending School Spectacular the very best of luck. We have children in the Combined Choir, D'Arts and Dance. We know the children will have the most amazing time. We look forward to seeing lots of pictures throughout next week.

Congratulations to the following children for their participation in the Premiers Reading Challenge. These children have been awarded certificates to acknowledge their outstanding participation.

Our School Yearbook has arrived and has been distributed to those who have purchased copies. The cost of the 2024 School Yearbook is $28.00. Please order and pay at the office or through the Sentral Parent Portal to secure your copy.

Mrs Mitchell and Miss Reedy have been working hard to finalise lesson times and groups for our Swimming Program. Notes have been sent home with children today outlining their lesson time and what children need to to bring to school for swimming each day. Please contact the office at school of you require any additional information.

We believe student learning, wellbeing and success are best when working together. Please do not hesitate to contact the school to discuss any concerns you may have.
