We recently hosted the launch of Godaku Tjukurpa ‘God’s Story’ in our Emmaus Performing Arts Centre on behalf of the Bible Society.
The Centre was packed out as people from near and far (including Ernabella) flocked to attend this long-anticipated event.
Executive Principal, Andrew and Principal - Secondary School, South Plympton, Andrea were invited to speak, with Teacher Neil Blenkinsop sharing how he raised almost $40K for this project.
What a God-glorifying time of appreciating an exhibition of the Bible artwork, the Bible books being sold, a choir performing and delicious nibbles; we were truly honoured to be part of it.

On Sunday, Emmaus had the privilege of hosting FIRST® LEGO®League Regional Tournament at our Brooklyn Park Campus, where 19 teams across Metropolitan Adelaide competed with "Gracious Professionalism!"
FIRST® LEGO® League is a global competition involving 40,000 students aged 10 -16 annually. This season’s theme is “Submerged” which explores the issues and opportunities with the Ocean. Teams present their ideas to judges in an Innovation Project, and devised a robot to solve up to 15 LEGO Technic missions under a time limit. At this tournament, we are proud to have our Emmaus Stage Band and Trio providing entertainment and a large number of Emmaus Family, Friends and Old Scholars volunteering their time to make this event possible and a great success.
The energy on the day was electric and this event serves as a celebration of Emmaus’ involvement and contribution to the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) community in South Australia. We are also proud to partner with community group Roboroos, Highgate Primary, IQRA College, Pulteney Grammar, and Flinders University STEM Outreach.
We congratulate teams Koroonda Comets, Karoonda GRIMM, BotCodez, Br@!nerz, and the Regional Grand Champion, Subaquatic Marines from Prospect Primary School, for advancing to the Nationals South Competition.
We look forward to ongoing involvement and contribution to the First Lego League competition in the future!
