NASCA CareerFIT 2024 Camp

NASCA CareerFIT 2024: KHS and MHS students, Misty Kelly and Miss E went to Sydney for the NASCA Career Fit 2024 Camp. Students participated in a range of workshops where they learned about a range of careers and adults who were in similar situations as the students attending. Some students went to Nestle in Sydney and participated in a competition where they were given ingredients to create milo pancakes and dress the pancakes up for a photoshoot.

All MHS and KHS participated in the workshop 'Meet the mentors'. Mentor Megan Waters has been in the wellness and fitness industry for the last 8 years. She is a lead Nike Well Collective trainer and is passionate about health and holistic fitness and is driven by her desire to positively influence people's lives.

The Melville and KHS team accompanied by two boys from another school won best plate. They all received prizes and got to eat their delicious pancakes. On the final day, there were a range of workshops again most picking to go with the Sydney School of Entrepreneurship, which was an inspirational range of activities.

They finished the camp off with creating a group artwork with all students attending and giving Nasca appreciation cards to people who helped and supported them in some way on the camp. The gratitude activity was a fantastic way to connect and to wrap up a fun week.
