Dear Parents,
On behalf of the staff, students and the St Aidan's Community I would like to wish Mrs Ripepi the best of luck with the up coming birth of her baby. We will miss her and we can't wait to hear the news. Mrs Ripepi will be taking maternity leave from this Friday 21st June. Miss Eavan Trainor will be taking Year 4 until the end of the year.
CONGRATULATIONS to Sebastian who won the Botany Randwick Public Speaking Competition with his inspiring speech on “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” The St. Aidan’s community are extremely proud of you and this has been a great reminder of our school theme this year to continue to ignite your own individual light. Another congratulations to Annam for representing our school at the Semi Final Public Speaking event. I would also like to thank our School Captains, Chloe and Marley, for representing our school at the Botany-Randwick Public Speaking events.
I have started reviewing the St Aidan's K-6 student reports. I am proud to say that the students have been working extremely hard to achieve their goals and learning outcomes. This is a very rewarding time of year for our students as they can see the results of their hard work. Semester One has been full of learning and huge achievement. The Semester One Reports will be available via Compass in Week 10 this term.
We will be conducting our Teacher/Parent/Student Goal Setting Meetings at the beginning of Term 3. During this process we will set new individual learning goals for the the students for remainder of the year. The teachers are looking forward to sharing with our parents the amazing achievements the students have made so far and setting new goals. These interviews will be booked via the Compass Portal. We will send an alert when they have opened in Compass.
Have a lovely week.
God bless.
