Semester One Reports

Semester One Reports will be sent home digitally to parents on Friday Week 9 via Compass

It is extremely important for all parents to be able to access the Compass Parent Portal to ensure you are kept up to date with what is happening at St Margaret Mary’s. We ask all parents to check they are able to access the Compass Parental Portal ahead of sending out our Semester One Reports.

Have you booked your Parent Teacher Conference yet?

During Week 10, parents will be able to meet with their child’s teacher for a 10 minute Conference. This conference will be a conversation between you, your child and their teacher highlighting your child’s strengths and on-going learning goals.

The conferences will take place in the following spaces: kindergarten and year one in the LARC and years two to six in the hall.

To book your one-on-one Parent Conference, parents will need to log on to the Compass Parent Portal App and select an appropriate time slot to meet their child’s teacher.

Bookings are now open.

Bookings will close at 3pm Friday 28th June. If you have any questions or concerns regarding booking a conference with your child’s teacher, please email the school office: stmargaretmarys@parra.catholic.edu.au

Attendance Matters

Thank you to all families who continue to support the school and their child’s education by ensuring that their child attends every possible day at school. If students miss school regularly, they miss out on learning the fundamental skills that will set them up for success in the later years of school. When your child misses school they miss important opportunities to...LEARN…MAKE FRIENDS… BUILD SKILLS THROUGH FUN

There is no safe number of days for missing school – each day a student misses puts them behind, and can affect their educational outcomes. Your child's attendance is monitored and we will contact you to offer support and work together to increase low attendance. If your child is absent for 3 or more days you must provide a medical certificate. If you have any concerns please contact our office to book a time to meet your child's classroom teacher or myself
