Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

June is an exciting month as we celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. For our community, the Sacred Heart holds profound meaning, as it was to St. Margaret Mary that Jesus revealed His most Sacred Heart.

As we approach the Feast of the Sacred Heart, it is important to reflect on the significance of this celebration. The Sacred Heart of Jesus symbolises the boundless love and compassion that our Lord has for humanity.

Last week, we were blessed with the presence of Fr. Wojciech and Fr. Jeremy, who visited each stage to share their insights and wisdom about the meaning and importance of this special feast. They spoke to the children about the meaning of the image. Through discussions, examples and the videos, our students gained a deeper understanding of the Sacred Heart's representation of Christ's divine love, mercy, and sacrifice.

The Feast of the Sacred Heart reminds us of the unconditional love that Jesus has for each and every one of us. It encourages us to open our hearts to His love and to extend that same love and compassion to those around us. By embracing the message of the Sacred Heart, we can cultivate a spirit of forgiveness, kindness, and empathy within our community.

Again, I would like to extend a warm invitation to all parents and families to join us in celebrating the Feast of the Sacred Heart this Friday, June 7th, at 11:30am in the church.

God Bless,
