Interview with Melissa Werry
Year 1 teacher
How long have you worked at
BNPS?
Melissa
- I've been employed at BNPS since 2005, with a break to stay at home while my boys were young.
What is your favourite thing to do on weekends?
Melissa
- I love spending time with my husband Scott and three boys Max, Tom and Harrison. I also enjoy catching up with my extended family and friends.
What is your favourite TV Show?
Melissa
- Usually, my boys are in charge of the TV and its either the footy, grand prix, cricket or basketball so I don’t get much choice most of the time!
If you could go on a holiday anywhere in the World, where would you go?
Melissa
- I would love to go to Italy and particularly the Amalfi coast. I may have to brush up on my Italian!
What might someone be surprised to know about you?
Melissa
- That I’m lucky enough to have four of my nieces and nephews at BNPS so I usually get to see at least one of them while I’m on yard duty.
What recently made you smile?
Melissa
- Watching my youngest son win his basketball grand final on his birthday.
What would you like to say to the students at BNPS?
Melissa
- My special memories are from when I was in primary school where I made life-long friends. Enjoy every moment of these wonderful years!
