It Went to Penalties!!

Our annual Yr6 vs Staff Soccer match was held on the last day of the term and was played in great spirit. It was close and at the end of full time the score was 3:3!!

It went to penalties!!

For the very first time we have a decision based on a penalty shoot out. For the very first time the Yr 6s and all our students were ecstatic to win the match. The students won the penalty shoot out 2 goals to nil. The penalty goal scorers were Matilda and Jax. Congratulations to our Year 6 students.

Happy Holidays

A big thank you to all our staff for their sensational work  and dedication to our school this semester. It is amazing what wonderful learning opportunities our children have had and the great learning outcomes that have been achieved as a result of their commitment to supporting our children. We also congratulate our students for their great focus this term, embracing our school expected behaviours and for the growth and learning that has resulted.

 Ceiling Cassette Daikon AIR-CONDITIONERS

To find the money for this capital work is a massive achievement. The school is paying off four loans on buildings we enjoy - LS1, LS2, LS3 and the admin building. The hall while paid for with a capital grant still required school contribution. Like any household budget the school has to manage income and expense. We have had to save for this. We are thankful to the P&F for their contribution of $30000. The school has had to find the considerable balance of over $100000 to make this dream a reality.  Thus we had to get approval from MACS Capital Grants to proceed. Permission was granted after due consideration and this made it possible for us to get an install now and so be ready for the summer. Roll on HOT days...we are ready for you!!

NAPLAN 2024

NAPLAN reporting packages will be delivered to our school in week 1 2024. We expect to receive them in the first week from Monday 15 July 2024. The delivery will include a printed Individual Student Report for each student who participated in NAPLAN in 2024. We will be distributing these reports to our Year 3 and Year 5 students who did the 2024 NAPLAN tests as soon as we receive them. NAPLAN will provide a perspective of your child's performance on a given day and needs to be considered along with other assessments to determine stage of development and most importantly the next learning opportunities required to ensure on-going progress.

Semester One School Reports

The Semester one School reports are now available electronically.

NFORMA recommends that each semester ALL parents are cleared of ACCESS and then given access again where they receive a temporary password through an email and have to set up their details again. NFORMA believes this is an important security measure. Thus we will follow this for ALL families each year. You should have received an email with access and a temporary password which will allow you access to the portal. From there you will be prompted to update your password and enter the portal. Please change your password to one that is secure. At all other times the Parent Portal can be accessed from the school website

STEPS to access reports are as follow:

-Go to the school website

-Click on Our Families

-Scroll down to School Reports

-Click the link to go to NFORMA Parent Portal, login and then enter the parent portal (as seen below) where you can access your  child/ren's report.

Download and Print Reports

We strongly recommend that parents/carers download or print a copy of their child's report each semester so that  they have personal copies of their child's F-6 reports that they can access for various reasons if needed.

Focus on the Positives and Celebrate Achievements

We are proud of all our children and congratulate our students on their great progress. The reports are one of many opportunities to get a window into your child's learning.  We encourage you to provide positive feedback to your child and focus of the positives. Make learning fun and work in partnership with your child's teachers. Remember to celebrate what you child can do and has achieved in Semester one 2024.

Interviews are being held for Prep 2025.

We have tours nearly every morning at 9 am.

Help promote our school and share stories of the great learning and extra curricula opportunities we provide.

Word of mouth stories about our great school community is the BEST promotion.
