Developing team working skills with lunchtime fundraiser event

Year 12 VCE VM students organised and ran a lunchtime fundraiser event this week, as part of our course work in our Personal Development Skills subject. 

The class formed teams who collaborated on planning and managing food and activities on the day, including a sausage sizzle, homemade cupcakes, lolly bags, a chocolate toss, and count the lollies in the jar. As part of challenge, the teams were competing with each other to raise the most money for their chosen charity. 

The event was a great success with a good turn out of customers and sausage sizzle sell out, making a profit of almost $500.
