Grade 1 & 2 

Over the last two weeks, the Grade One/Two classes have been focusing on a variety of texts about magpies. We have enjoyed the stories "The Magpie Tree" and "Waddle Giggle Gargle". We have been working on planning and writing narratives that include a 'who', 'what doing' and 'where', with one of our characters being a magpie! The children have also had a lot of fun making fact files about magpies and creating their own magpie nests and magpie scaring hats!

REMINDERS

Our final two weeks of Term 1 will be very busy, with our Athletics Sports happening next Friday the 22nd of March and our final day of term being Thursday the 28th of March.
