Hello Para Vista Community

Hope you all had a Happy Easter!

Wow, what a busy term we have had from Swimming and Aquatics, Harmony Day and our very own Sports Day. The weeks have just flown past and we are now less than 2 weeks out from school holidays.

I would like to congratulate Torrens on winning the Sports Day Shield and Light on winning the Spirit Cup. Well done to everyone! It was a really great day with enthusiastic participation from our children and great to see their family members cheering them on. 

We have had great special days from the canteen this term. Thank you to Karran, Michelle and volunteers for making them happen and thank you to parents and staff for continuing your support of them by placing orders. 

Recently our First Nations students were able to attend Closing the Gap Day at Wayville Showgrounds where they were able to meet and receive information from communities and organisations who help raise awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander needs.

A Mother's Day Stall will be held in the second week of Term 2.  We are looking for volunteers to help wrap the gifts prior and also volunteers for the stall. A flyer will be sent out soon regarding donations needed, so please keep an eye out.

Lastly, I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy school holiday break.
