District Swimming
On the February 23, St Mary's School set off to East Keilor Swimming Centre having their eye on the first place ribbon.
It was a great atmosphere at the pool and everyone was cheering our school on to do their best, both in individual events and especially in the relays. The group were all super supportive of each other. It was great, there were people from grade three all the way to grade six, together. eEveryone was complimenting each other even in different year levels. The other schools were very nice too, giving us handshakes and good jobs. We were just the same.
St Mary's had a great performance, winning the shield. Everybody tried their hardest leading us to having an astonishing number of people that made it to the next round. Overall St Marys had an absolute ripper of a time competing. All of St marys is looking forward to next year's swimming carnival competing for our school and all the years to come. The people that made divisionals are probably training for their next swim right now.

Divisional Swimming
On the 7th of March, 2024, 23 students, ranging from years 3-6, caught a bus to Oak Park Aquatic Centre to compete in Divisional Swimming. We were so proud to have Patrick Rainey, Emilia Giaccotto, Gus Gadsby, Lottie O’Keefe, Freddie Kelson, Milla Livingston, Amelie Fishley, Hazel Gadsby, Eden Ham, Reid Robinson, Luca Ambrosini, Zac Schulze, Arlo Coopala, Sebastien Yaxley, Ryan Took, Flynn Atkins, Pearce Kerlin, Bella Bardon, Evie Bryant, Lily Bell, Lukas, Eva Sanders and Jude Robinson represent our school in such a respectful manner. We were up against some tough competition, such as PEGS, Lowther Hall and Overnewton. Regardless, we all continued to support one another and try our hardest. Best of luck to those who will be competing at Regionals and thank you to all of those who participated in the second round of school swimming.
