As term 1 comes to an end, we are already looking forward to Term 2 and all that’s in store!

Our Grade 3 students have been absolute stars this term! Our students have navigated through various challenges with remarkable poise and determination. They tackled the NAPLAN testing with focus and confidence, showcasing their developing academic abilities and readiness to take on new challenges.

Our Grade 3 students have been actively engaged in developing their social and emotional skills. They have embraced opportunities for growth, showing empathy, kindness, and respect towards their peers.

In addition to navigating NAPLAN testing and focusing on social and emotional learning, our Grade 3 students have tackled challenging learning concepts with determination and grit, which will serve them well going into term 2.

Level 3 Camp Day

On Tuesday April 30th, students will have the opportunity of attending an entire day at Enchanted Adventure in Arthur’s Seat. This day promises to be packed with thrilling activities and unforgettable experiences, designed to foster growth, confidence, and camaraderie among our students.

At Enchanted Adventure, Grade 3 students will embark on a journey of exploration and discovery. They will have the opportunity to engage in tree surfing, navigate through challenging mazes, zoom down exhilarating tube slides, and immerse themselves in the beauty of the gardens. From the adrenaline rush of adventure activities to the serene surroundings of Australian flora and fauna, this day promises to be an enriching and unforgettable experience for all.

This immersive day at Enchanted Adventure aligns perfectly with our upcoming inquiry topic for next term – Sustainability. Through hands-on experiences in nature, our students will deepen their understanding of environmental stewardship and the importance of preserving our natural world for future generations.

This day serves as excellent preparation for our students to attend camp next year. It will provide them with opportunities to develop essential life skills such as resilience, teamwork, and problem-solving in a supportive and nurturing environment.

As educators, we are committed to providing our students with enriching experiences that inspire curiosity, foster personal growth, and create lasting memories. We are confident that this day at Enchanted Adventure will do just that, and we cannot wait to see the smiles on our students' faces as they embark on this adventure.

Please note that the cost of this excursion will be approx. $80.

We thank you for your continued support and trust in our school community. Together, we will continue to nurture and empower our incredible Level 3 students to reach their full potential.
