Our Happenings At TheirCare

Last week we spoke about saving our planet . Our activities all led up to our 'Earth Hour' Picnic Party . 

On Monday the children designed a poster for the Picnic.

 On Tuesday we made earth cookies . However, the minute the fencing from the oval came down, kids were asking me if they could play on the oval. 

On Wednesday, the children enjoyed making clouds and sky from shaving cream and food dye . 

On Thursday, we had a picnic of Mac and Cheese at the coloured playground for those who couldn't make it on Friday. 

On Friday the children had chocolate chip and berry muffins for an afternoon picnic, in the park . They also participated in The Escape Room Challenge and made lanterns with jars and tea lights . 

The children loved that activity it spilled over to Monday.  We made the lanterns again this week.  An Easter Egg Hunt, colouring, and drawing to showcase the Easter celebration. Easter card-making and hairdressing which is always popular.

Absent noting 

Just a friendly reminder,  If your child is absent please cancel on Fully Booked as soon as you become aware.  Alternatively, text me atTheirCareanytime, and I will cancel the booking.

Please advise me directly, even if you enter this on COMPASS. This makes the session run smoothly and not eating into the children’s time with me when I’m trying to follow up with parents . 

Last but not least . Have a Happy Easter to those that celebrate and Happy holiday break for those who don’t .
