PBIS Blitz

NEW - Term 2 Week 1 & 2 PBIS Blitz

Have you ever thought about what it means to be responsible when we're playing games or doing activities with others?

Being responsible means taking ownership of our actions. For example, if we accidentally break a rule during a game or make a mistake, it's up to us to admit it, apologize if needed, and make things right.

When we're responsible, we help ensure that everyone has a fair chance to participate and have fun.

But what about when things don't go our way? Like, when we lose a game or something?

That's where resilience comes in. Resilience means bouncing back from setbacks and disappointments, and learning from them. So, even if we lose, we should stay positive and try again next time. Resilience helps us grow stronger and become better players and teammates.

What about safety and how does that fit into playing fairly?

Safety is super important too. When we play, we need to follow the rules of the game, use equipment properly, and look out for each other to avoid accidents or injuries. So, whether we're playing tag or doing a science experiment, we should always prioritize everyone's safety.

When we play fairly, responsibly, and safely, we create an environment where everyone can have fun and feel included.

We remind students to keep all of this in mind next time we're playing together.

Let’s have a great week playing fairly with others
