SWPBS Update – Focusing on Responsibility

This fortnight, our SWPBS (School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support) focus has been on Responsibility. Students have been reflecting on what it means to make positive choices in all areas of the school.

Using student voice, we worked together to create clear expectations for two key spaces — the quiet area and the basketball court. Students shared their ideas about how these areas can be safe, fair, and enjoyable for everyone.

Our new expectations highlight showing care for others, taking turns, using equipment safely, and including everyone. We’re so proud of the thoughtful contributions our students made in shaping our shared spaces!
