2026 Foundation Transition Program
This Friday is our final transition session for our 2026 Foundation students — and so many of them have been telling their parents they’re ready to start school right now! They’re excited, eager and counting down the days… February 2nd, 2026 can’t come soon enough!
ur Foundation teachers have been blown away by how confidently the children are settling in already, and they can’t wait to welcome them into their classrooms next year.
And once again, our incredible Grade 5 & 6 students shone brightly, showing exactly what our Team Westbreen values are all about — Responsibility, Care & Compassion, Cooperation, Respect and Achievement.
Our Grade 5s are buzzing with excitement about becoming buddies to our new Foundation students in 2026, and we know they’re going to be absolutely amazing in this role. 🌟💛

✈️ Family Time Takes Flight This Week! 📚✨ Get ready to fold, fly, and have a blast!
This Wednesday, Family Time transforms into a Paper Plane Workshop, where kids (and grown-ups!) can create amazing planes, test them out, and try fun challenges and distance contests! 🚀💨
Join us in the Library from 3:15pm to 4:15pm to pick up your materials, learn new folding tricks, and send your creations soaring. And if the weather holds up, we’ll take our paper plane races under the Blue Sails for some outdoor flying fun! 🌤️✈️💙
Last week, we had hula hoops, bean bag toss, giant snakes and ladders, quoits and bubbles galore taking over the bat tennis and basketball courts. A big thank you to all our families for joining us for Family Time each week — we love seeing everyone having fun together.

Join Our Playgroup at Team Westbreen! 🌈👣
Looking for a fun and friendly space for your little ones to play, explore and make new friends? Come along to Playgroup at Team Westbreen! Each week is filled with hands-on activities, outdoor adventures and plenty of smiles.
Last week our little creators had a wonderful time playing with playdough, rolling, shaping and squishing their imaginative ideas into life. This week, we’re getting arty again with decorating face masks — colourful, playful and lots of fun!
Whether we’re indoors crafting or outdoors enjoying the sunshine, Playgroup is a fantastic way for children to learn through play while families connect with our school community.
Playgroup runs each Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:30am — everyone is welcome!
