Students from Tenterfield High School had a remarkable experience during the Far-Out Science excursion at the University of New England in Armidale on Thursday 6 November. This event offered an exceptional opportunity to explore a range of scientific concepts, engage in inquiry, and stimulate curiosity. Congratulations to all our aspiring scientists! We extend our gratitude to Mr Clay and Mr Douglas for accompanying our students.
Agriculture
Mr Jones's Year 9/10 Agricultural students are currently preparing for the Northern Schools Steer Competition, which will take place in Walcha during Week 7.
Multicategorical
Ms Hudson's Room 11 students had the pleasure of hosting author Zac Curry during their lesson today. This term, the students have been exploring various books, making it an excellent opportunity for them to engage with an author. Thank you, Zac, for generously sharing your time and insights!

Visual Arts
An exciting day for Mr Caisley & our Year 11 Visual Art & Visual Design students! They visited the ARTXPRESS exhibition at the New England Regional Art Museum in Armidale on 16 October. ARTEXPRESS showcases outstanding artworks created by NSW HSC Visual Arts students, featuring a diverse array of creative styles including painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, and digital media. Such an inspiring experience for our young artists!
Resilience
Yr 7 Blue & Yellow resilience classes combined to create a super hero costume out of newspaper & masking tape. They worked as a team to decide on the costume & name of their superhero. They overcame challenges & were very creative.
