Numeracy

In our numeracy lessons this week we have been learning about money in preparation for our excursion to the Heathmont Shops. We have identified our Australian coins and notes, found matching amounts and explained what they are worth.

Gymnastics Fun!

Our students had a fantastic time participating in gymnastics sessions over the past two weeks. They explored a range of exciting activities, such as practising to balance on the balance beam, trying out “spider-man” handstands against the wall, using hula hoops to build coordination, and refining their forward-roll technique. The session helped students develop strength, balance, confidence and body awareness, all while having plenty of fun.

Fire Fighters

We also had a special visit from our local Fire Fighters this week. We learnt about who are our helpers in the community and the difference between good and bad fire safety.
