Level 3

The fun and meaningful learning continues in Level 3, with lots happening and great progress being made!

Writing

Students have continued exploring a range of poetry styles and experimenting with language to create their own pieces. They have enjoyed drafting, editing, and publishing their poems to share with others.

Reading

In Reading, our mentor texts have tied in with our inquiry topic, Exploring Earth, focusing on how humans impact the environment. This has allowed students to make strong connections between their reading and real-world issues. They have been using thinking routines and a variety of comprehension activities to deepen their understanding of the texts.

Maths

Students have been working with data by generating their own information, recording results using tally marks and frequency tables, and creating graphs. They especially enjoyed making digital graphs to showcase their findings, building confidence in interpreting and presenting data.

We are very proud of the effort and enthusiasm Level 3 students continue to bring to their learning each day.
