Assessment:

Weeks 5 and 6 are our assessment period, providing a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the incredible growth our students have achieved throughout the semester. Teachers have carefully planned assessments across the two-week period to ensure students are not overloaded and feel supported to do their very best. Families can support during this time by ensuring students are well rested, maintaining healthy routines and taking time to celebrate their achievements and growth. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s classroom teacher.

Garden Art Project

At Lucas Primary School, a special tradition for our Year 5/6 students is completing a garden art project to celebrate their time at the school and leave behind a lasting legacy. In Art, our students are collaborating to create a beautiful mosaic tile garden. In small groups they have researched their designs, planned their colour schemes and carefully arranged each piece to bring their ideas to life.
