Year 2 Update

Year 2 had a fantastic first term full of learning and joyful moments!

In English, we explored narrative writing, and students developed longer, more descriptive stories that showed creativity and structure. There was a real buzz in the classroom as students collaborated on group tasks and looked forward to our hands-on Maths lessons, full of games and problem-solving challenges. 

In Sport, they were introduced to OzTag, learning new skills and teamwork.

This term, students are diving into new challenges with enthusiasm. In Maths, they’re exploring data through real-life activities that encourage them to collect, organise, and interpret information. In English, the focus is on informative writing, and this week we’ve been learning all about great white sharks. In History, we’re investigating significant people, events, and places in our local community. 

The term has started with great energy and excitement as students take part in Athletics training and lively dance lessons.
