Wellbeing at Corpus Christi in Term 2

Throughout Term 2, we are using a whole school approach to teaching wellbeing.

A whole-school approach encourages schools to review their existing procedures and culture to ensure that they model respectful relationships and gender equality practices across the entire school community.

Each learning community will be using the Respectful Relationships Program to meet the core components of the Victorian Curriculum for Wellbeing.

The Respectful Relationships program supports schools and early childhood settings to promote and model respect, positive attitudes and behaviours. It teaches our children how to build healthy relationships, resilience and confidence.

The topics each learning community will cover this term are:

  • Emotional Literacy

  • Personal and Cultural Strengths

  • Positive Coping

We look forward to using the program to form a consistent approach throughout our community.
