Building Program

It's Finally happenning!

We are very excited to announce that the final stage of our Building Program (as communicated late last year) will commence in the coming weeks after months of design, consultations and submissions.

This stage: The Reconstruction and Development of our Administration Building has been in the pipeline for some time now, having been interrupted by the COVID years and the soaring costs to follow.

The stage will see the realization of our Master Plan and be the final piece of the puzzle in the transformation of every building and playground since my time as Principal.

The proposed works will increase our physical identity (and orientation to the church) and embody and represent the school's Catholic context and contemporary pedagogy.

Specifically, the proposed works in and around the existing Administration Block will address the need for:

  • Separate reception areas for the public and student population

  • A sickbay visible and accessible to staff alone

  • Private and discreet office spaces to conduct meetings

  • Designated administration work area that does not become a thoroughfare for traffic

  • Increased provision of staff amenities (for a staff that has doubled in size in recent years

  • A clearly visible Entrance and Gathering Space

As with any school building project, there will be necessary changes and adjustments to ensure the work can proceed safely and efficiently. These will include:

  • Relocation of certain  spaces, including the Administration building

  • Changes to traffic flow on and around school grounds

  • Temporary decanting of some areas

  • Adjustments to drop-off and pick-up procedures

We understand these changes may cause some inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding and support during this time. A detailed plan outlining all changes will be communicated to families next week.

Based upon parent feedback, this year our PFA is taking a different tact with the stall. It's all a big secret but we will provide a few more details next week.

An Operoo Form will be sent out requesting volunteers for the Breakfast (BBQ Helpers needed) and the Mothers' Day Stall.
