Summer Gala Day Wrap
What wonderful results we had at the Ascot Vale District Summer Gala Days.
Congratulations to all of our teams who represented the school in the sports of soccer, tennis and cricket.
Our soccer teams had some excellent results, with the boys finishing in 3rd place overall. Our girls competed amazingly well and progressed through to the final of the competition, where they played extremely well and finished runner up in for the whole event.
Our cricket team had a great time during their matches and worked well as a team as they were able to coach each other to complete to the best of their abilities. After losing the first game to the eventually finalists by 26 runs, they went on to win every remaining match to finish second in the group.
The tennis team won 6 of their 7 matches to finish second in the group, playing with great spirit and endeavour across the two days.
Thank you to all staff and parent helpers who attending on the day and made these a wonderful two days for our students.
NMPS House Cross Country
On Friday 28th March, our Year 3-6 students competed in our annual NMPS Cross Country carnival, which took place on the beautiful grounds of the Royal Park circuit. We were lucky to have some beautiful weather which was perfect for some fast running for the students.
We were very impressed to see all students very excited and motivated to try their best and supporting their peers. Teachers were very proud to see those who really pushed themselves and did their very best on the day and achieve fantastic results.
We have a lots of students from Years 3-6 that will be going through to the next round of Cross Country in the District competition, which will be held on Friday 9th at Aberfeldie Parklands.
Below are the results of the overall House Scores that were won on the day. We congratulate the Blue House for their efforts!
