Year 6 -ANZAC Commemoration

Melbourne Legacy's Annual ANZAC Commemoration for Students - Year 6 Excursion

On Monday 28th April, our Year 6 students had the honour of attending the Legacy ANZAC Day commemoration service at the Shrine of Remembrance. During the visit, they took time to reflect on the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who have served our country. The ceremony featured addresses from honorary guests and dignitaries, and included contributions from Defence Force Cadets, school bands and choirs, as well as a RAAF flyover. After the service, students explored the Shrine, where they viewed artefacts from various armed conflicts and learned about the heroes and their stories.
