1.Education Perfect International Languages Competition Results

After one week of working hard to improve their language skills in both German and Indonesian, our students managed to achieve some amazing results for themselves and for Oberon.

We placed;

• 32nd overall globally out of 1804 schools
• 7th overall in Victoria out of 323 schools
• 1st overall globally in German out of 759 schools
• 8th overall in Indonesian

Our students received 36 Credit, 11 Bronze, 6 Silver, 4 Gold and 2 Emerald Awards.

Top students are:

            Alisha Bhatt – 6,033 points, Charlotte Allen – 5,447 points, followed by

Isabella Dyson, Enjay Kabylakis, Elaina Laurie and Tayla Henderson.

Congratulations to all students who worked really hard to achieve their best results in this World Competition. These results are the best Oberon has ever achieved!

2. German Sister School Trip 2026

Interest for this exchange trip is high. We encourage parents and guardians to check XUNO updates and to pay the deposit by June 16th if your child and family are interested in participating.

3. German Week/s May 2025

German classes are participating in several competitions during May to celebrate German Week being run by the Goethe-Institute and the German Teachers Association AGTV.

• Most classes will compete in the tongue twister competition
• Some Year 8 classes will organise German food
• Year 9 and 10 classes will prepare for their visit to a German restaurant
• One year 9 class will organise a protest based on saving the environment
