STUDENT ABSENCES AND LEAVE PASSES

Kindly note that our school does not have a PA system. If you need to collect your child during recess or lunch, and they are not aware of your arrival in advance, it may take some time to locate them. To ensure a smooth process, please contact the school ahead of time so we can inform your child accordingly.

Student Absences

A reminder to all parents of the importance of phoning in absences early on the morning of your child’s absence. 

For your convenience you can simply leave a message on our ABSENCE HOTLINE number 4241 8088 or enter it on Xuno.

Our SMS system will send a message out each day by 11 am to those parents whose child is absent from any class without notification. 

Late Passes

If your child arrives late to school, they must first report to student administration with a note signed by a parent or guardian. Alternatively, they can inform the office if a parent has called the school or updated the information on Xuno.

Early Leave Passes

If your child needs to leave school early for an appointment please ensure that you either:

• Send a signed note with your student to give to the office when they arrive at school.  Office staff will then enter on the roll that the student will be leaving early on that day.

• Enter it on Xuno 

• Phone the office in advance. 

• Email the school in advance 

To assist our office staff, we kindly ask that students remember to report to the office at the arranged time of departure.

If your child needs to leave school unexpectedly, please contact the school at 4241 8000 as soon as possible. This will give us enough time to locate your child in their timetabled class and have them ready at the office when you arrive.
