Grade 3 | Blackwood

This term, in Art, we are doing sketches and making prints of some Australian native plants. Last week we drew bottlebrush as well as white, pink and red gumnut blossoms. We made sure we looked closely at the details, paying attention to the leaves which we tried to match by blending two or three colours together. Next time we will draw some other types of native plants and then make prints using paint and cardboard.
