Student Leaders

At John Paul II, we highly value the voices of our students in shaping and enhancing our school community. Students from Grade 4 to Grade 6 have the chance to engage in various leadership roles throughout the school year. On Tuesday, 29th May we presented our Leadership badges to our student leaders in Grade 4, Grade 5 and Grade 6 at Gathering.
Our Grade 4 students have embarked on their leadership journey by taking on responsibilities at Little Dove Cafe. Throughout the year, students rotate through various activities. They help manage the breakfast club, prepare the dining area in Emmaus each day, and tidy up after the final lunch session.
Our Grade 5 students will strive to earn their cap and whistle by the end of term 2 by contributing to morning fitness, keeping the bike area tidy, storing sports equipment each day, and ensuring the sports shed remains organised. Students will help organise and lead morning fitness activities. Over the course of the year, students will take turns in various roles as Sports Leaders.
Our Grade Six students have chosen two leadership groups to support during the
year. At the end of the second term, students will change leadership groups.
