Community News
We would like to take the opportunity to invite our community into the school to sit around the table, with our students and staff, and discuss how we can best move forward into 2025. During the afternoon/evening we will be looking at our existing School Improvement Plan 2024/27 and mapping out any new ideas you may have to support excellence and equity at Glen Innes High School.
For this process to be high impact we will need to have feedback/suggestions from a broad range of our school community. Everyone’s ideas will be valued and discussed around the tables through scaffolded workshops. This information will then be collated and made available to the whole community and for further discussion.
Please make some time to come and join our students and their leadership representatives and family members, whole staff and community members. Our NSW Department of Education Director, Public Schools, Mr. Chris Bice will be in attendance on the evening. Thank you to our Parents & Citizens group (P & C) and Glen Innes Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG) and to our Glen Innes High School Student Representative Council and Junior AECG for their support.
The Glen Innes Rotary Club will also provide a complimentary BBQ at the end of the workshops providing further opportunity for community and staff to discuss ideas.
We would welcome community members into the workshops at any time during the 3.30 – 6.00 timeframe. Come along when you can and join in or send along your ideas with a friend or family member.
Thanks for your support
